Our Training Program
Our Training/Behavior Modification Program:
Training begins with 7-10 days of boarding here at Perfect Pooch. During this time, your dog will learn to socialize with our stable pack, becoming more balanced. He/she will experience being in a “follower” state of mind by listening to a human “pack leader”. In addition we will work with your dog one on one and introduce basic training commands. When you pick up your dog, we will go over guidelines for practicing consistent leadership in the home. These guidelines help you set up an environment where your dog clearly knows what to expect and willingly listens to your leadership. In a week you begin the first of five private lessons. Mastering core commands here and at home is essential to successful training. We work with you every step of the way so you and your canine friend achieve the best results possible for a happy, fulfilling life together.
3 Items required upon intake:
1. Current shot records (Rabies*,Bordetella, K-9 Influenza, Distemper/Parvo)
*Rabies vaccination certificate must contain lot number and manufacturer name.
2. A ten day supply of dry dog food
3. Payment (check, cash, or credit card)
Program Training Prices:
Puppy Training (12 weeks to 6 months) $799.00*
Juvenile Dog Training (6 months to 2 years) $799.00
Adult Dog Training (2 years to seniors) $899.00
*Puppy Training consists of a 5 day stay at Perfect Pooch and 5 private lessons. Also included in pricing is either 3 days of daycare or 2 days of boarding to add to the puppies socialization process.
**The cost of training for dogs with aggression or other serious behavioral issues will be determined by the trainer.
