Sarah, is a former all star rugby player from North Wales PA. She’s always been a natural with dogs, and grew up with Bassett Hounds (one of the most stubborn breeds). As a child Sarah and her family trained her Bassets in basic obedience, and scent tracking. Sarah’s dogs were always under control, and with Bassett Hounds that’s not easy to do. When Sarah came to Perfect Pooch, we immediately noticed her strong work ethic, and natural ability controlling a pack of dogs. She came here with one dog, a Lab Rott mix named Riley. Since then she’s rescued Pit Bull named Sun, and adopted a Bassett Hound named
Benny. Sarah’s personality fits right in with the rest of the Perfect Pooch staff, and with her help we are looking to offer more services, and expand on our training program.
Over the past 5 years Ryan has studied under two Master Dog Trainers, perfecting his dog handling and training skills. He came to Perfect Pooch in November 2009 to work as our Head Trainer. Ryan has 3 perfectly trained, off-leash and under control dogs, Layla a Black Lab/Great Dane mix, Xeric an Australian Shepherd and Phoebe a Chihuahua/Dachshund mix. Since 1987 Ryan has also been studying and teaching the Martial Arts, he holds Black Belts in 3 separate arts and for the past 4 years has been studying Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He brings his passion for teaching, learning and wealth of dog knowledge to his clients training sessions.
